TEST EXECUTION
TEST EXECUTION – FROM AUTOMATED TEST SCRIPTS TO EXPLORATIVE TEST CASE GENERATION
As far as possible and reasonable, test cases should be automated to increase test coverage, minimize risks and reduce manual work. This subsequently means designing the test programs, creating scripts and testing the test automation.
Experience has shown that this also involves clarifying contradictory, imprecise and interpretable requirements. This involves checking whether the test cases really fully cover all aspects of the requirements in order to improve test coverage and control the software test more precisely.
I support you in test execution, both in requirements-based testing and in exploratory testing, i.e., the intuitive creation, execution and documentation of additional test cases, in order to discover higher quality defects and to sustainably increase the quality of the system under test.
Questioning existing test cases, a flexible approach and a neutral perspective can reveal hidden quality defects and thereby increase product maturity.
